NMBU invites you to a full‑day emerging on how technologies are shaping safe and sustainable Norwegian food production. The program combines indoor presentations at Vitenparken with hands‑on demonstrations and field tours at Vollebekk.

Program at Vitenparken (09:00–11:30)
During the morning session, participants will hear perspectives from regional authorities, researchers, farmers, and industry actors. Topics include:
- Akershus Fylkeskommune’s agritech priorities — regional strategies for technology‑driven agriculture
- Precision farming tools — current status and practical use
- Farmer perspectives — experiences from grain producers adopting new tools
- Startup support — opportunities for innovation and early‑stage development
- Updates on Barley protein research
- Drone‑based weed control
Program at Vollebekk (11:45–15:00)
Lunch (11:45–12:45)
Baguettes, mineral water, and coffee/tea will be served at Vollebekk.
Afternoon program
The field session highlights how modern technology strengthens precision in agricultural research:
- Robots and drones in field trials
- Automatic phenotyping and grain sorting using NIR and image analysis
- Field tour featuring:
- Yield component evaluation in spring wheat
- New genetics for increased protein content in barley
- Drought stress trials in polytunnels
- Waterlogging experiments
- Nitrogen utilization in ryegrass
